#UnsuckDCMetro

Because if you've ridden the DC metro more than once, you'll understand. We got stuck in between stations for almost an hour today on the way home from church. And let me tell you about Tuesday... I was so squished on my way to class that my feet weren't touching the ground. Everyone else was literally holding me up. And that's all I'm going to say about the event because thinking about it doesn't do anything for me. P.S. I did not make up that hashtag; it's a real thing.

Baltimore Inner Harbor

This week involved only two days of work. So basically it was great. We had Monday off for Columbus Day, so us girls and Clark spent the day in Alexandria at an art factory. Well, there was other stuff too, but that was my favorite part. Except, I found a yarn boutique. I was so happy. I also experienced my very first waffle cone.
Although commuting on Tuesday was an absolute NIGHTMARE, Tuesday is definitely my new favorite day of the week. We found a place to go swing dancing every Tuesday night. I danced on the balcony of an old southern home, NBD.
Wednesday was temple night

For work on Thursday Heritage took us to Mount Vernon. So I got paid to see George Washington's house and eat lunch. It was wonderful to be outside and using my legs instead of sitting in front of a computer. I for sure have the best internship. Also, peanut butter M&M's are such a great go-to.

On Saturday, three of us took the Amtrak to Baltimore for a concert and we spent all day touristing. My opinion of Baltimore: the harbor was beautiful and the concert was a blast. I belong in the Peabody library - look up pictures, mine don't do it justice. Oh and the concert was Oh Wonder (you see what I did there?) If you ever visit Baltimore, you MUST go to Joe Benny's in Little Italy. The only thing they make is focaccia - it is DIVINE.
