Krakow was the very last stop on our 8 day trip and we were only there for about 2 hours, so I didn't see much. But what I did see seemed very beautiful. And tasty. Some of us found a Mexican restaurant, and I have never been so happy to see a burrito. There's something about living in Ukraine that makes you want Mexican food.
We actually spent most of the Poland day at Auschwitz Concentration Camp. I am beyond grateful that I was able to have that experience, but it certainly made for a rough day, especially with the cold and rain."Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." George Santayana
All in all, I had a fantastic vacation! Although spending so much time on a bus wasn't ideal, there is no way I would have seen five different countries in a week for that cheap or with so little hassle. I loved each of the places we went to and I honestly don't think I could choose a favorite; each city was different, with it's own special atmosphere. I have been so blessed to spend four months in Ukraine, and I will cherish these last two weeks here.
