Sorry about my funky formatting and not very descriptive last post... I wrote it while I was at the church building on Sunday because our wifi was out at the school. But I realized I haven't really talked about living in Ukraine (other than the food), so get ready! Haha, I haven't even been here for two weeks, and I've lived a sheltered life at school, so I'm sure later on in the semester I'll have a similar blog post that's much more informative. I guess we can consider this post my first impressions of Ukraine!
The winter camp has been at an etiquette boarding school called Ledi (Леди) in Boyarka (Боярка). Boyarka is a medium sized town about a 40 minute bus ride from Kyiv. I wish I had pictures of all the old houses here; they are brick, barn shaped, and so cool looking! But I guess poor quality pictures of the school and views out the window will have to suffice. So far with the dreary weather, Ukraine is upholding that idea of the Soviet Era - lots of cement slab apartments, rundown everything, and people all wrapped up. But when the sun is out, it's beautiful!
Other tidbits: use the Private Bank Atms (Приват Банк), they're green and don't charge you international fees. The second closest bus stop to the LDS temple and church building (and the one that we stop at) is called Zahz (ЗАЗ).

The schedule for the temple baptistry is 4:30 PM T-F, and then 8, 10, and 3 on Saturdays.
And just for kicks and giggles:
Apparently I need to learn how to take panoramas correctly...
This line dance we taught the kids is called Wobble Baby, and it's the same thing over and over for 6 whole minutes. But they love it!
Also, I have this app called Track My Tour, and it shows a map of most of the places I go with photos, weather, time, my comments, etc. Check mine out, it's pretty cool!
