Fridays are the Best!

Fridays are the best, and not just because it's the beginning of the weekend; although, that is a very good reason why Fridays should be enjoyed. No, Fridays are the best because that is when SVU has their Forum, or devotional. We may not have had Elder Christofferson speak to us like BYU-I did last week, but the Spirit is always strong, and the message relevant. The speaker at this last Friday's Forum was my favorite, but the video hasn't been uploaded yet, so I won't be sharing that one with you all. Instead, I will be sharing the one that President Sybrowsky gave.
In all fairness, his talk is acutally taken from Elder Nelson's talk from the most recent CES devotional. I LOVED Elder Nelson's talk; my pen could not write fast enough, so I was very grateful that President Sybrowsky reiterated some of his points. My favorite part of Elder Nelson's talk was at the end; he finished by bestowing a beautiful blessing upon us. President Sybrowsky had the blessing printed out for each one of us, which I greatly appreciated. This is the whole video, but the best part starts about 49:00

"To assist you in these critical choices before you, I would like to bestow a blessing upon you. Invoking the keys of the holy apostleship vested in me, I bless you that you may feast upon the words of Jesus Christ and apply his teachings into your lives. I bless you with a power to live as he would have you live, and through your example of righteousness become worthy of emulation as a member of the Church that bears His holy name. I bless you with success in your educational and occupational pursuits, to the end that you can render service of worth to your fellow human beings. I bless you with health and strength needed to fulfill the divine destiny that God has in store for each of you."
